March 25,  2008 -  iDTRONIC, a leading supplier of RFID Hardware solutions, today introduced the new HF Long Range Reader EzScan LRM for ISO 15693 transponders .

The EzScan LRM Long Range Reader is a high-performance HF Long range reader operating at the frequency of 13.56Mhz with EAS standalone mode. It contains different types of standalone mode to suit your application and easily configure with the four function buttons on the reader.

iDTRONIC’s Read/Write device for ISO 15693 transponders (ISO 18000-3) has an integrated 4 channel multiplexer for the direct connection of up to 4 antennas. The reader has a maximum output power of 8 Watts. Numerous input and output ports are integrated and optional to use with RS232 and/or USB serial interfaces.

The new reader contains numerous software controllable input and output ports for painless integration to any existing system. The device is suitable for many applications, including EAS, logistics and tracking. In addition, this HF reader is field upgradeable to support future protocols.

EzScan LRM has a robust housing and comes in a very nice design. It can be connected to up to four Antennas at the same time. Easy and fast Firmware upgrades are possible via the USB Interface and a Demo Software plus SDK for Developers is also provided with the Reader.

Infineon my-d, Tag-it, NXP I•CODE and Legic Advant ATC chipsets.
