Sale Sofas, the website which offers free advice for people in buying cheap furniture and home seating, is expected to increase in the number of unique visitors it receives each month by 80% over the next two quarters according to approximations that have been made by the company itself. The company behind www.salesofas.com, Red Media, has recently received a round of private finance which they are using to further enhance their online presence.
Stewart Douglas of Red Media said: "having received a further round of finance we are hoping to invest our resources into improving our online media properties. Since our inception it has always been our goal to provide helpful, editorially pure, resources which can help people to make decisions and gain knowledge - our sale sofa site is a great example of that. Upon, being asked about specific plans to improve the site, Stewart Douglas explained: "Our usability consultants have suggested ways that we can make our site more user-friendly, so this is one of many ways that we aim to improve. Another way that we aim to improve our site is by bringing new staff on board - specifically Charley Bricon who comes from a background in consumer review journalism and has a lot of knowledge in this specific vertical. Red Media plan to add over 100 articles to their site over the next quarter, and also intend to add new tools to their website which include a means of calculating how much people should pay for a sofa at a certain time of year. |
