About Metastorm BPM

Metastorm BPM (formerly ‘e-work’) is a mature Business Process Management Development platform. It employs a very simple and effective approach to most data entry and data processing problems that are faced by the majority of organisations in the world today, of whatever size.

The ability to easily define business processes using a graphical Designer also makes it an ideal tool for producing, demonstrating and even documenting business processes. The ease with which even quite complex processes may be defined and maintained makes it a very effective development tool with a low cost of maintenance for solutions, as there is often no need for complex hand-written code. Finally the ability to provide simple and effective web-based solutions with no client installation can dramatically reduce cost of ownership.

About the Author

Jerome Pearce worked on the original e-work development team at Sysgenics, and subsequently Metastorm after the acquisition of the company for over four years, since version 3 of the product.

In addition he spent quite some time developing and troubleshooting e-work procedures.

For the last six years Jerome has lived in Australia and uses Metastorm products professionally, mainly through his company Process Mapping which he started up in Australia and has since grown and expanded into the UK, US and East Asia.

Process Mapping has completed many key Metastorm development projects in Australia and globally, in conjunction with several partners as well as Metastorm itself.

Process Mapping also hosts the global on-line Metastorm Support forum.

Jerome has experience of Metastorm BPM both from the inside and the outside, and a firm understanding of the way the product works and its capabilities.
