Dot Com Infoway (DCI) was in the news again for sponsoring an event which was one of its kinds in India. The event was Search Camp.

Search Camp kicked off on 6^th of October, 2007 with a big bang. The response was tremendous and the exhibition hall at the Tidel Park was filled up ½ hour before the event started. The event was conducted by Knowledge Camp. The participants were from different parts of India including Delhi, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagaland and there were also a few participants who were also outside India i.e. Taiwan, Dubai etc.

The topics during the first day were Measuring Success of a SEO Campaign, Recent Developments in Keyword Marketing, The Future of Search Engine Marketing - 8 predictions for 2008 and a few more presentations which included Web Analytics, Pathway to Implement Search Marketing and Converting Visitors into Buyers etc.

The post lunch session started off with a bang with a panel discussion in which C. R. Venkatesh, CEO, Dot Com Infoway was for speaking about in-house SEM/SEO and he was pitted against 4 participants who spoke for outsourcing of SEM/SEO.
