Like most working mothers, owner of www.cosyposy.co.uk and mum of two, Renée Labelle relishes finding new products that save or free up her time. This year sees the introduction to the popular on-line boutique Cosy Posy of three new products that she’s personally road tested – and loved!

When her energetic baby, Miles, decided he was going to crawl unusually early, Cosy Posy owner Renée quickly discovered that this step towards independence for him meant a form of prison for her.  Renée couldn’t take her eyes off him for a moment as she had to be there to catch him with every tumble – and there were a lot of them…with most of them landing on his head. Constant surveillance meant that she didn’t have the time to make herself a cup of tea, let alone run a business or prepare dinner.  This is why when she came across these cute baby helmets created by Canadian company Baby No Bumps, she realised what a life-saver they’d be.

At last, Renée could get up and put the kettle on, without holding her breath for that inevitable thump as her baby’s head hit the floor. Freedom was achieved…and for only £18.00.

Renée is not alone in worrying about her baby and accidents. Every year in the UK over 2.25 million children are taken to hospital with accidental injuries and falls count for over 40% of all home accidental injuries to children!
