The average household could save hundreds of pounds every year by switching to UPVC exterior doors, as a result of their greater energy efficient properties, according to industry think-tank BuyDoor.net.
Edinburgh, UK, 1 March 2008 ( Freepressreleases ) -- The average household in the UK could save hundreds of pounds annually simply by changing their front door, according to a study into exterior door insulation released by industry watchdog BuyDoor.net . As a more energy efficient alternative to traditional doors, UPVC doorways are better at insulating heat than wood, according to the findings of the study, which could give rise to a tangibly lower energy bill over the course of a year for the average UK household.
