Flowcrete Fly the Fairtrade Flag |

Leading flooring company Flowcrete UK has signed up to be a Fairtrade firm in order to promote a better deal for producers from developing countries.
Sandbach Town Councillor Deborah Darnes introduced the company to Fairtrade as part of the Council’s campaign to become a Fairtrade town. Deborah is Chair of the Fairtrade Town Steering Group and an application for Sandbach to become a Fairtrade town was submitted at the end of April. They are waiting to see if they have been successful. Flowcrete, based in the Moston area of Sandbach, has pledged to stock and use Fairtrade products where possible. Mark Greaves, MD of Flowcrete UK, said: “We are delighted to be able to support this Town Council initiative and promote Fairtrade to our staff. “Fairtrade coffee and tea is now available to staff and visitors.” Flowcrete - a world leader in the supply of specialist flooring solutions for commercial and industrial buildings -has 30 offices worldwide and 12 manufacturing plants. The Fairtrade Mark has become a familiar symbol for UK shoppers in recent years and ensures that producers are given a proper price for their products.
