Action International, the world’s largest business coaching organisation, has just changed its name to ActionCOACH as part of a major re-branding exercise by the company which has just been chosen as the world’s top business consulting franchise for the fourth year in a row by Entrepreneur magazine. The decision to choose a new name comes following extensive international research by the company which indicated that the new ActionCOACH brand has a much stronger association with their core business coaching activity. Indeed, it was the founder of the company, international business expert & author Brad Sugars, who is credited with inventing the concept of business coaching. Around 14 years ago, he recognised that most owners of small and medium sized businesses were unaware of how to effectively grow their businesses and achieve their goals. He therefore decided to apply the concept of coaching, which is used successfully in sport, to business and developed a comprehensive coaching system & methodology to assist business owners realise their dreams with dramatic results. Now the company has a national network of over 150 business coaches in the UK and almost 1,000 offices in 22 countries across the globe.
