Zevrix Solutions releases ArtOptimizer, a workflow automation solution for reducing the size of images linked to Adobe Illustrator documents. ArtOptimizer will help users save valuable storage space, time and reduce production costs by eliminating excessive image data.
Toronto (ON), Canada--MARCH 9, 2007--Zevrix Solutions today announced the release of ArtOptimizer, a workflow automation solution for reducing the size of images linked to Adobe Illustrator document. ArtOptimizer will help users save valuable storage space, time and reduce production costs by eliminating excessive image data. The program will reduce the size of linked images whose effective resolution is higher than user defined target resolution. ArtOptimizer will open images in Adobe Photoshop, automatically reduce their resolution, and scale the images according to their dimensions in Illustrator document. ArtOptimizer will then reimport the images into Illustrator document at 100% in their precise position. ArtOptimizer will save, depending on a project, hours and even days of production time it could take to perform this task manually. Publishing houses, design firms, printers, and service bureaus of any size will dramatically benefit from using ArtOptimizer - whether they output their files directly from Illustrator or place them in InDesign of QuarkXPress documents. ArtOptimizer will help the users in a variety of ways: -saving valuable hard drive and backup storage space, -increasing document manipulation speed - whether it's saving, printing or creating PDF files, -saving valuable time when transferring jobs to outside sources, -reducing the job cost through faster processing by service providers, -speeding up the overall job turnaround.
