The awards organised by Digital Printer Magazine are in recognition for the high quality of digital printing by Pazo and in particular for their production of "Blake's Book" a special CD presentation case for the debut album of the vocal group "Blake". The highly crafted CD case is made like an old leather bound book, the theme of "Blake's" website.

Simon Griffiths a partner in Pazo Print was at the ceremony to receive the award last night (29th November), from John MacFarlane, General Manager of Nipson UK Ltd., the awards main sponsor. He was thrilled to have received the award. Pazo Print, are not a large company and have only been operating for about a year, but in this short time have swiftly been recognized for their innovative approach to high quality digital printing. Pazo were up against large companies and groups from all over the U.K and Ireland.
 
Speaking this morning from Pazo's works in Walsall, Simon Griffiths said "We are really thrilled with the award, its great that excellent printing, design and production are still taken seriously".

He added "It's particularly pleasing that we have been recognised for this job. Its been a co-operative production. While we did the printing, the CD box itself was specially made by Bath Street Boxes, a small family business headed by Dave Cooke. Both Bath Street Boxes and Pazo Print are next to each other in Thomas Street, Walsall".

The CD "Blake", is by an exciting new vocal group who bridge classical and pop music. Blake was "discovered" by former Blue manager Daniel Glatman who secured them a 5 album contract with Universal.
