In today's time, people are completely absorbed in their work that they at times feel lonely and most of them get fed up of their monotonous and taxing routine lives.

The children books are primarily fantasy based where the usual life is not visualised anywhere, however, this world involves things that we cannot even wonder. This creative imagination world is quite provocative as every person has a fantasy world of his own. Fairy tales are an important part of almost every childhood. The parents read them to kids at bedtime allowing to bond with them and meet their favourite heroes in dreamland as well. Harry Potter is one of the most enjoyed and popular books present in the market across the globe today.

This is highly popular among the children's books. These series of books are complete with adventure,excitement and thrills. One would will get so engrossed into the mystery of the book, and somehow will feel that you are with the gang solving the mystery and facing the adventure. This adventurous and sporting book is a compulsory read for all.

Fairy tales and other similar kinds of stories are often found in books for children that are common at homes or in libraries or in schools. Children's books can indeed stir up the thinking of children and teach them great morals and lessons. In the past, boy’s and girl’s choice for the type of stories found in books for children varied. Boys are keen in stories about adventure like those of pirates, explorers, and pirates. Girls, on the other hand, are most likely to read regarding fairies, ponies and training as nurses.

Most of the stories in the past also depict a pleasant world were kids could wander around safely. JK Rowling is known as today’s foremost writer of children's books. She follows in the light other writer’s in children’s fiction like Roald Dahl and JRR Tolkien. The characters, Harry Potter and his friends are today world-renowned and her stores have also been depicted on the silver screen as well. It's quite distinct and educative and her work is so appealing the children who had no enchantment to reading are now awaiting the next potter book. Although her books have been criticised for placing children to varied harmful realm of magic, they have also inculcate values to the children.

Five of Charles Dickens' work were given a thumbs up, Great Expectations, David Copperfield, A Christmas Carol, A Tale Of Two Cities and Bleak House.
