This McKellen-Caffey Production is a summer-long crazy, great, and tragic adventure to search for clues to solve a mystery, and pure optimism in spirit and song maintains hope for forgiveness and success. Out of the imagination of Perry Crompton comes Chisel Hedgehog Crazy Great Summer. Chisel Hedgehog Crazy Great Summer by Perry Crompton is intended to be an interactive book for children, with stories to read, songs to listen to, pictures to look at and color, a web page to view, and games to play. The CD that comes with the book is not an audio version of the text, it is a musical accompaniment that can be listened to by itself or while children read about Chisel's adventures. When he decided to add a CD to his book, Crompton put his trust in Southern California producers and engineers Andreas Geck of San Andreas Recording Studios and Billie Stevens of Dinky Music Recording Studios. Billie Stevens was also responsible for the musical arrangement, instrumentation and recording of "Thinking of the Memories." The soundtrack CD has 29 tracks and has a running time of 59 minutes. The book itself contains three parts to make up the whole, a variety of games and puzzles and all the illustrations by Baruch Inbar double as a coloring activity. The addition of the CD is just another auditory adventure to coincide with Chisel's amazing, but tragic summer. The inclusion of the soundtrack is what is going to set this book apart from other releases this summer in the same genre.
