21 September, 2006 - Europe’s leading digital media house, AdLINK, has today launched a unique Branded Response platform, which enables advertisers to recognise the brand impact of response-based advertising. The initiative responds to agency demand, and addresses problems often associated with blind network advertising. AdLINK has designed the platform to be channel independent so that advertisers can assess the individual impact that direct response, search, email or affiliate marketing are having upon their brand. It will help advertisers to understand how their advertising channels could be working together more strategically in the future, to maximise ROI. Lee Puri, commercial director of AdLINK, comments: “For 10-years responsive brand advertising has been a well-known channel to market. Now it is time for branded response. If advertisers are able to make the most brand-led campaign receive a response, then why shouldn’t response-driven campaigns bring uplift to a brand? This also squarely addresses the problems associated with blind network advertising.” AdLINK’s Branded Response platform has been enabled by DoubleClick’s new tracking technology FloodLight, of which a beta version is currently available. It’s a true universal tag that can be read by several third party tags. This in turn creates a level playing field for true optimisation and campaign comparison across networks. Jason Bigler, VP of Advertiser Solutions at DoubleClick, comments: “DoubleClick’s focus is on developing industry leading and innovative technology for our clients, and we are delighted to enable the AdLINK Branded Response platform with our latest Floodlight tracking tool.” Puri adds: “Our Branded Response platform is unique, and we are confident it will help to grow the online advertising market by allowing clients to see the impact that their advertising channels are having upon overall brand awareness. We understand the market has been frustrated with the lack of emphasis placed on brand when it comes to response networks, and this is the first real solution to that problem.” Ends AdLINK press contacts: Wendy McAuliffe – 07900 886791 / This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Lloyd Gofton – 07919 353484 / This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it About AdLINK Internet Media AG AdLINK markets online advertising space and digital marketing concepts.
