All Flex Launches Sales Efforts in The European Markets
Northfield (Minnesota, US), July 2008 – All Flex focuses sales efforts in Europe in an effort to continue their solid growth. The enterprise, with headquarters and manufacturing site in Northfield, MN, US, specializes in the manufacturing and assembly of quick turn prototype and low to medium volume flexible circuits. "We are anxious to offer our flexible circuits to European customers, because we turn out high quality parts fast, our business has grown 20 – 35% over the last five years and we expect we can continue the trend as we explore opportunities in the European market", says Dave Becker, Sales Manager. The All Flex product line includes flexible circuits that are single sided, double sided, and multilayer up to six layers. They also specialize in complex flex circuits including Maxi-Flex, (40 feet+), Sculptured Flex, All Flex Power Flex (high current thick copper application) and Flexible Heaters. Materials types include Polyimide, Flame Retardant, and Polyester Flexible Circuits. All Flex has been manufacturing polyimide and polyester flexible printed circuits for 17 years and is a leader in the flex circuit industry in the area of quickturn prototype and low to medium volume processing. All Flex is ISO 9001: 2000 Certified, Mil-P-50884D Qualified, and ITAR registered. Flexible circuits from All Flex can be manufactured for RoHS Compliance and UL Certification. All Flex also has the ability to provide their flexible circuits with assembled surface mount and thru hole components. Additional value add capabilities including folding and electrical testing. Flexible circuits are used in the medical, instrumentation, military, aerospace, industrial, and telecommunications industries. Flexible Circuit BenefitsThe benefits of flexible printed circuit boards reach from the solution of system package size to multi-planar interconnection to thermal management. These conformable circuits allow for unrivaled design solutions which solve interconnection problems. The formability of a flexible circuit enables a package size reduction. In many cases installation and repair will be more practical and cost effective. In many applications production costs are reduced as the flexible circuits can be tested before assembly. The thickness of a flexible board can be as thin as 0.1 mm. In addition cost intensive connectors and solder joints can be eliminated. The system design will be simplified and size and weight of the application will be reduced. Flex circuits dissipate heat at a better rate than other dielectric materials while providing the added benefits of vastly improved flexibility.
