2008 BMW X6 launch event hosted in Massachusetts draws over 300 consumers to BMW of Peabody wanting to be the first to see the exciting X6 Sports Activity Coupe in the greater Boston area.

BMW of Peabody was overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response by Massachusetts car shoppers at their May 1st BMW X6 launch event.  Hundreds of passionate BMW owners and savvy consumers attended the event to be the first to see the all new 2008 BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe.

General Manager Marshal Cabot commenting on the event said “The 2008 X6 was a very powerful draw and thanks to great industry press, this will be a popular car in 2008.  The X6 Sports Activity Coupe is so powerful, drivers are wide-eyed after a few minutes behind the wheel.”  That’s no surprise to the dozens of BMW dealers who had a chance last month to take the X6 for a drive on the BMW test track.  The unanimous decision was that the X6 has all the power, styling and handling you could ever want in a combination of what is best described as “SUV meets Coupe”.

Guests had the opportunity to see the all new BMW X6 on display in the showroom as well as the 1 series convertible/coupe and the all new BMW M3. BMW of Peabody also set up an outdoor display of the new vehicles.  Guests arriving were given the chance to register for an opportunity to win a brand new BMW mountain bike or one of six BMW model toy cars. Guests were also given event programs and specifications on each featured vehicle.

Hors d’ oeuvres included Maine crab cakes, beef Wellington, coconut shrimp, raspberry and brie pastries and a variety of refreshments.  Sharon Rubbicco of Acton, MA won the BMW Mountain bike.  She was so excited!!!
