An Inter-Generational Love Story Like No Other...New Novel features fascinating story about a young man loving his former babysitter
Love relationships between a young man and an older woman are highly unusual and difficult to accept even in modern times. Recently however, such inter-generational relationships have gathered great attention through the media and are currently influencing more people as we speak, including showbiz personalities. The question remains however: is it really possible for a Generation X man and a Baby Boomer woman to have a real loving relationship in life? The answer is about to be revealed as Xlibris proudly releases Goddess X, the compelling new book from author Robert St. Clare.
This novel introduces to readers the protagonist Keith Martin, a twenty-six year old social worker who is slightly neurotic and overly obsessed with the influences of the 1970s. The story begins when he is reunited with his only love—Dawn, his former babysitter, a woman twenty years his senior. His regained bliss is shattered however when he discovers the truth about her estranged husband, David: abuse, mind-control, adultery. Keith also learns that a malevolent spirit has staked a claim in Dawn’s house because of David’s reckless tampering with the occult. Enraged by this information, Keith begins an investigation that leads from the past to a future where David and his jealous mistress, Rosa, are planning a demonic demise for Dawn that’s twenty-four years in the making. What will it take for Keith to save Dawn from danger? Only time can tell.
With its interesting cast of characters and very deep character development, Goddess X is a highly dramatic novel that will leave readers breathless with amazement and even touch their hearts. It deeply explores the conflict between fantasy and reality as seen through Keith’s eyes, and at the same time the book focuses on the purity of the relationship between Dawn and the protagonist in the face of great odds. Their inter-generational relationship is the true highlight of the story and brings to light the link between the Baby Boomer and Generation X generations, which itself is relevant as it reflects the current spate of celebrity relationships of TV shows and movies. Robert St. Clare’s Goddess X is now available for your reading pleasure online at Xlibris.com and at all major online booksellers.
