ActorExpo ‘08  - The London Actors’ Career Show | Saturday October 11^th 2008

Young female entrepreneur, Remi O, launches the first ever trade show in the UK, for Actors and Performers, this October.

With ticket sales for the classes and seminars at ActorExpo going on sale on Monday 15^th September, there was astonishment all round at the speed of sales from actors and performers, who were hungry for these tickets.

Remi said today “I am amazed by the influx of visitors today to the site and how many tickets have been brought. It’s brilliant. It’s lovely to know this event (which is totally new) is helping so many people and also bringing together so many actors, agents and directors under one roof on one day. I don’t think there is anywhere else where actors in the UK where actors can get a quality professional headshot for £20. That’s pretty incredible right?”

Besides the £20 headshots on sale there are a lot of other classes at ActorExpo on:
Audition techniques, Intro to TV Presenting, Intro to Radio presenting, Voice over Master classes, Introduction to Drama Schools Q&A with leading casting directors,  Conversations with a professional TV actor, Musical Theatre Workshops,  On Camera Screen Tests , Make-over’s and beauty advice, Spolin Technique, How to market yourself and many more classes.

“The tradeshow is the perfect place for actors to not only come and learn from the best – it’s also a great place to post new projects, short films, build alliances and bring their headshots and CV’s to drop off with some of London’s leading agencies”.

In just 5 months, 40 leading industry companies have signed up to exhibit at the first show and over 5000 visitors have already registered for their FREE tickets to attend. ActorExpo ‘08, is the UK’s first and only trade show dedicated to advancing the careers of actors and performers.

ActorExpo ‘08 takes place on October 11^th 2008 at the Royal Horticultural Halls.

The event is completely free for visitors to attend which supports the organiser’s vision of making the Arts accessible for everyone.
