From the smash hit show "Dancing With The Stars," Carrie Ann Inaba will be live at Animal House Radio on Friday October 3rd, 2008 8:00pm EST to talk about her new PETA "SPAY-AND-NEUTER" AD CAMPAIGN.

"[I]t's really important to spay and neuter your pets because there are so many. And what's so sad is that people are breeding them, and then we're putting them to sleep," says Carrie Ann, who has graced the covers of magazines from Europe to Japan and counts among her numerous acting credits two of the blockbuster Austin Powers films. "I really wanted to be a part of [PETA's ABC campaign] because if this is going to help spread awareness of the message about spaying and neutering …, I'm going to be the first one to sign up."

Why are Carrie Ann and PETA pushing animal birth control? One unspayed female cat and her offspring can create 420,000 cats in just seven years, and an unneutered male can father limitless litters of kittens. Every year, millions of dogs and cats are dumped at crowded animal shelters, where most must be put to death for lack of good homes. The less fortunate animals never even make it to a shelter. They are abandoned to fend for themselves on the streets, where they are often subjected to cruelty and succumb to starvation, diseases, or injuries.
