About Hotel Casa Espana
The Hotel Casa España is located on a privilege place in the historical and monumental center of Villaviciosa, the building is one of the most emblematic buildings of Villaviciosa. The building was formerly a chocolate factory and a couple of years later became a tin factory owned by D. Andres Miravalles Miranda, in 1921 the building was demolish. Using the same stone from the demolished building D. Corripio Gonzalez built a Mansion de Indianos the current structure is the original from that time. During these years the building has served different purposes it was Casa de Espana, as the Town Council, a library and a nursery. It was in 1995 that the building was totally restored with the intention of becoming the Hotel Casa Espana.
