Home movers are receiving a helping hand on moving day thanks to a new Home Moving Box initiative launched by leading home move specialist Moveme.com, in conjunction with ideas consultancy LUCID thinking.

The Home Moving box has already proved extremely popular, with 6,000 requests recorded by Moveme.com in the first two days following its launch.  

The boxes, which are couriered directly to the doorstep of home movers on the day they move into their new home, provide all the essentials needed on moving day that can typically take days to unpack. The box which is co-branded by Scottish and Southern Electricity is filled with essentials, including tea bags, milk, sugar, biscuits, energy saving light bulbs and cleaning products, as well as a range of money-off coupons.
