The latest release from Samsung's I-range of mobile phones has now been launched on Orange in the UK, the Samsung Omnia is the manufacturers newest touchscreen device and is available in two memory capacities, 8GB and 16GB. Its the 8GB edition that has now been picked up by the Orange network after an initial release on O2, this now doubles the number of tariffs available to consumers when trying to match their usage requirements making it far easier to get the right package for their needs. The Samsung Omnia has been said by some to closely resemble the iPhone from Apple, however this new device actually offers far more functionality and freedom when it comes to software and network choices. With pretty much everything you could want from a mobile phone, the Samsung SGH-I900 offers some major features.
The Samsung Omnia on Orange wouldn’t be complete without Bluetooth for wireless data transfers of files and images to compatible devices within a 10 metres radius and handsfree voice calling.
Although initially available on O2 and Orange the Samsung Omnia is expected to be released by further UK networks in the very near future as well as being made available both as a SIM free phone and Pay As You Go handset. There are also colour variants planned for the Samsung Omnia with confirmation already of a new white edition, however rather than changing the entire colour of the exterior casing of this phone the manufacturer has opted instead to simply change the colour of the back panel to a brilliant white - rather iPod looking don't you think? |
