The Samsung F400 isn't just any other slick sliding mobile phone. Underneath that glossy unassuming exterior lies the latest technology from Samsung and Bang & Olufsen. The SGH-F400 also has a unique "dual slide" mechanism. Sliding the rear down reveals as you would expect, they smooth keypad - but slide it up and the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower loudspeaker is revealed, so you can actually listen to your music without the need for earphones. The F400 also has am FM radio too, which is a nice addition as Samsung don't normally include this feature. It also comes with music recognition, a comprehensive audio library function, Samsung's Digital Natural Sound Engine and other music related goodies. Memory capacity has not yet been confirmed by Samsung but we do know that it has a microSD slot. The display is large at 2.5" and it also blends into the phone whilst not in use. A 3 megapixel camera with flash features on the F400. As you would expect from any high-end Samsung mobile phone bluetooth, expandable memory, USB port are all supported on the Samsung F400 Our opinion on the F400 is that although it may not be a ground-breaking device in technological terms, it is not only very attractive to look at and exudes an air of understated superiority but it also has outstanding music capabilities too. The F400 is anticipated for launch in June/July 2008 in the UK and will be available as Sim Free or on a pay monthly contract with the UK networks from The Order |
