The Nokia 6500 Slide, on the other hand, has seven variant types of messaging options, the first two are same like Nokia 6300-SMS (Short Message Service) for text messages, MMS (Multimedia Messages) for illustrated messages, and the options are - push email, email with attachments, Nokia Xpress audio messaging, instant messaging and predictive text messaging.

Nokia 6500 Slide supports network connectivity of quad band technology and WCDMA,it operates on quad band technology frequencies of GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. On the other hand, the sleek Nokia 6300 operates on the Triband technology with support for GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 frequencies.

Both the mobile phone have varied entertainment options, the Nokia 6300 comes with embedded Java games and downloadable games(downloadable games means where a user can download games from any other source). Whereas, Nokia 6500 Slide has Java games and downloadable games,.


Nokia 6500 Slide weighs only one hundred and twenty three grams and its dimensions are- 96.5 x 46.5 x 16.4 mm, but, the Nokia 6300 weighs just only ninety one grams and its dimensions are-106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm.

Nokia 6300's connectivity options are-Bluetooth, Sync ML,USB Cable port, EDGE and GPRS. Whereas, Nokia 6500 Slide has connectivity options of 3G, Bluetooth, Micro USB cable port, 2.5 mm AV Connector, EDGE and GPRS.


Nokia 6300 and Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phones also possess internet browsing options. Nokia 6300 has xHTML Browser option, whereas the Nokia 6500 Slide has WAP/xHTML and Opera Mini Browser options.

Both these Nokia handsets are having marvellous sound features. In Nokia 6500 Slide, we can see specifications like-music player(MP3, MP4, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA), FM Radio,Visual Radio, polyphonic ring tones, MP3 Ringtones and video ringtones. Whereas on the other hand, the Nokia 6300 contains sound specifications like - music player (MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, H.263 and H.264), FM Stereo Radio, Visual Radio, video ringtones, ring tones(MP3,True Tones and MIDI) and Polyphonic ringtones (64 channels).
