The Media Center system is a revolutionary product that launches you into the 21st century of simple to use home technology. Rewind, pause and record TV then Bluetooth it to your mobile, download DVD’s, control the lights ..... the list goes on. BT and Microsoft have just held hands to promote this amazing ‘media center experience’ with an almost there system called BT Vision, but why hasn’t everyone already got a media center if it's so good?
Shops are slowly bringing out affordable systems that have about one fiftieth of the features of the media center. I’m sure you have all seen a free view box that records TV to internal storage or a DVD player with a memory stick reader for your pictures. By buying these new boxes year after year that have a few more features than the last you’re simply being belt fed another box for under the TV. Media Center is the first system on earth to do (or have the capability) to run everything from one remote. If you are looking for a basic media center that will run your SKY, carry out movie downloads and store picture & music you can have one installed for under £600 by Media Receive. Then when you want to send the media to another room, upgrade it to blu-ray or HD, or even bump up the spec to store another 40,000 albums and DVD’s; Media Receive will send out an engineer to perform the upgrade which saves you buying another box altogether. In fact you probably don’t need even need to buy anything because a Media Receive engineer can come to your home, link your Xbox, TV, PC and everything all together thus delivering the same experience. That is the lifestyle. One box that will always keep up with the technology market, because you just keep upgrading and growing the system. Google, Microsoft, Sony, SKY, Virgin and another million companies have got so many tricks up their sleeves for the Media center it leaves me thinking, why I haven’t got one yet ? |
