ApplianSys, the Coventry based server appliance specialist, today announced its continued success with a 200% increase in turnover and sales now reaching over 30 countries around the globe – in the last 6 months selling into 6 countries in Africa and 3 in Latin America for the first time.  Following sizable investor funding in 2007, the company has updated existing products, aggressively targeted new markets and developed an all-new technology platform for a range of new products due this year.

“Our investors saw the potential in the company, its products and its people and their confidence in us is starting to pay off,” says Mike Clark, CEO.  “ApplianSys has propelled itself forward at a significant pace, tripling turnover for the year and expanding its international customer base.”  As well as reinforcing its strong position in the UK education market with further large orders from LEAs, its appeal to IT network managers in companies of all sizes and sectors has continued to grow.  Existing customers included many global blue-chips such as IBM, BT, Canon, Panasonic, Warner Bros, Financial Times, Exel and Carphone Warehouse.  This year ApplianSys has continued with similar wins, for example NASA - the American space agency, DEST - the Australian department for education and Zajil, a leading telco in the Middle East and leading IT services company Unisys.
