Penzance Pumas Youth FC, Newlyn are taking part in the Foneclub mobile phone recycling initiative by collecting old and unwanted mobile phones in order to raise funds for much needed football equipment and training aids. The Pumas will receive £2.50 for every handset received through the scheme, and not only will they be raising money, they will be helping to protect the environment too! Penzance Pumas are a group of U9 boys from around the Penzance and West Cornwall area. The club is non profit making and run by the player’s parents for the players. The Pumas were formed in September 2007 and have played incredibly well together ever since. They train every Tuesday evening at the Coombe, Newlyn. For more information, please contact
