The new official sponsors of Leeds United football player Andy Hughes, www.leedsmemorabilia.com have now completed their new full featured website. Ready for the 08/09 season this website is packed full of features including an online blog, shop and regular newsletter. It is designed for the fans by the fans. The owners of the site are lifetime Leeds United fans and are dedicted to their cause. They aim to promote Leeds United Football in the Community (LUFITC). This is a non profit organisation which is affiliated to Leeds United and is looking for funding to support it in its work. Many of the youngsters who have come through the academy over the last few years have been through the hands of the coaches on the LUFITC schemes. They are also passionate football memorabilia collectors and want to help bring this hobby back to its glory days. Nowadays many experts estimate that 80% of signed items sold on online auction sites like ebay and CQout are forged, this along with recent court cases has tarnished the reputation of this field. Leedsmemorabilia.com along with other websites such as www.aspenmemorabilia.co.uk are attempting to rectify this with helpfull blogs, guides and forums. As mentioned above they are also proud to sponsor Leeds United first team player Andrew Hughes. The season long sponsorship will last for the whole of the 08/09 season. Chairman Edward Taylor says "I am very proud of this website and hope that we can do some good with it. I hate to see the autographed memorabilia community in the state that is but this is the world we live in nowadays." |
