Popular Sports Internet Writer and Sports Talk Show Can Now Be Heard Six Days A Week!

620 The Bull – ESPN Radio (WDNC), one of the Triangle’s leading sports talk radio stations, has added Bomani Jones to its weekday line-up to host the 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. time slot.   Jones has been heard on 620 The Bull and 850 The Buzz for the past 2 years as a fill-in host.  During this time, Bomani has established himself as a great, young and rising talent in sports talk radio.

 

Bomani has a background that covers a wide range of topics.  He has written on music, politics and social issues and sports for the South Florida Sun Sentinel and Salon.com, as well as a two-year stint with ESPN.com's Page 2.

 

Bomani is a native of Houston, a graduate of Clark College in Atlanta and has multiple master’s degrees, the most recent being from UNC-Chapel Hill (2005) in economics. 

 

"Bomani is incredibly bright, has a great passion for sports and he can't play a lick.  That makes him great for the sports talk family at 620 the Bull," said Adam Gold, Program Director.

 

Bomani will continue to host Sports Saturday, 9 a.m. to Noon, Saturday mornings on Sports Radio 850 The Buzz (WRBZ).
