Major names representing all aspects of the UK’s civil engineering industry have already booked stands at Civils 2008 as the exhibition, scheduled from 18 to 20 November at Earls Court, London, celebrates its tenth successful year.

Leading organisations as diverse as Crossrail, The Highways Agency, consultants Gifford, contractors Dean & Dyball and product manufacturers like ACO Technologies and Roger Bullivant have all booked for Civils 2008.

As civil engineering goes from strength to strength in this country, no other event brings together the whole industry in one place, offering unparalleled opportunities to network, educate, promote, learn and recruit among all of the sector’s leading stakeholders.

“Civils is a true industry event and much more than an exhibition,” says Charlotte Irons of channel drainage systems manufacturer ACO Technologies. “For us, it is the ideal place to promote our brand and showcase new product innovations.”

‘We have decided to exhibit again as we were very pleased with the outcome last year. It gives us the opportunity to promote the company and our capabilities, whilst providing us with the chance to meet with our clients and suppliers,’ adds Phil Holliday, Pre-Contracts Director, Dean & Dyball Rail Ltd.

The most important event of the year for the civil engineering and construction industry, Civils is unrivalled in attracting key players, the best suppliers, the most respected and authoritative consultancies and contractors, and the most important decision makers in the sector.

Civils event manager, Gerry Sherwood, said: “With today’s landmark projects like the 2012 Olympics, Crossrail and new developments in nuclear and alternative energy sources, Civils is the perfect place for resources-challenged, clients, consultants, contractors and supplier companies to connect, engage and then work together to deliver these important projects. We’re looking forward to welcoming the industry to Earls Court in November.”

Civils 2008 takes place from 18 to 20 November at Earls Court, London. For more information visit www.civils.com
