Neill Newton, CEO and Founder of Global Flying Hospitals is steering the charity into new territory, to tap a more accepting environment. (September 2008)

Neill Newton, the Australian born and internationally based Founder and CEO of Global Flying Hospitals, is steering the humanitarian charity into a more accepting environment, to tap stronger charitable giving, volunteering and corporate sponsorships. The United States, although in downturn, has a strong culture of charity at its core.  Newton and his Board have committed to launch the first US office in January 2009, in Florida, followed by the UK, Ireland, Germany and then proven fundraising countries as Singapore, Taiwan and Japan. This fundraising model will expand in other US and European cities. Newton embarked on the vision to launch Global Flying Hospitals in 2000, and through trial and error started building this humanitarian medical charity by recruiting the expertise and experience of seasoned professionals in aviation, medical and administrative backgrounds.   He is now guiding the charity into the western regions after spending considerable time in Asia, establishing an Operations Base to place the charity closer to developing countries. With 5,000 children dying every day in Africa due to a lack of medical care, and two billion suffering people in developing countries worldwide, Newton states that the need to grow fast and expansive is paramount and crucial. He believes that humanitarian work will be the focus in the next years as the desire to change and improve our world is growing fast. Newton is seeking top individuals who have varying skills in IT, aviation, medical, marketing and fundraising to help build the Global Flying Hospitals to greater heights and effectiveness.  You can email GFH at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  Website is down undergoing a rebuild (Sept/October 2008)
