The Rocket Festival will be kicking into action for the third time amidst the stunning surrounds of Andalucia. Renowned as a "Glastonbury in the sun", this year's three-day event will be sending tremors through the mountains with a bombastic line up that includes break-beat maverick, Adam Freeland, a DJ set from drum n bass pioneers, Pendulum, Brighton's Cold Cut and Evil Nine. Also featured are a combination of Spanish flamenco fusion and rock bands. More than just a music festival, the site itself will be punctuated by towering sculptures created by UK freefestival renegades, Wrekon (Mutoid Waste). Grafitti art, theatrical spectaculars, circus and cabaret, extreme sports and a kids area create a stunning three-day extravaganza for all the family! ![]() Dress to impress in your finest spaced-theme attire and join the galactic warriors at Cantina Galactica, the main festival bar where new settlers, aliens, robots, bounty-hunters, jedis and all the flotsam and jetsam of the galaxy will be converging for a good ol' knees-up! The line-up is incredible, the people are awesome and the weather? Well, what can we say? What could be better than the awe-inspiring, sun-drenched surrounds of beautiful Andalucia? You really can't complain. There's also a Rocket Shuttle running from Granada airport and the option to hire out a tent or a villa for those who like their creature comforts. So no excuses! Now go pack a tent, a sense of humour and an unlimited appetite for fun! ![]() http://www.rocketfestival.com |
