Classics from the ‘60s and ‘70s that we love, both young and old, will be belted out across Kent – live! In keeping with the traditions from a bygone age of true musicianship, the band will play songs from their extensive back catalogue of popular covers, completely live. No samples, no loops, just live music. Refreshing, eh? What’s more, the nights are themed. Everybody goes for a night out in fancy dress gear in the style of the two decades. Or just wear smart casual. And with the 9-piece live band cranking out hit after hit, the dance floor always fills in minutes. So dust off your your ‘60s and ‘70s gear from the attic, and dress super fly for Sittingbourne. The Vintage Corporation’s next gig is at the Swallows Leisure Centre, Sittingbourne, on Friday 25 April at 8pm. They are performing all over the South East this year so keep your eyes peeled and your Cuban heels polished for nights at The Hop Farm, Paddock Wood and Dickens' World, Chatham. Many other ’60 and 70’s nights are booked this year. Entry costs just £10 a head and there are special party-rates: buy 5 tickets, get 1 free. They play tribute to the best bands of the ‘60s and ‘70s, playing carefully selected motown, disco, soul, rock and pop. All of which is staged totally live, without miming, tapes, drum machines or backing tracks. Themed nights60’s and 70’s fancy dress costumes is encourage at our dances in order to create a fantastic retro ambience and the perfect night out. Or smart casual.With total emphasis on entertainment and an infectious playlist, the band packs the dance floor. The Vintage Corporation are based in the South East but perform all over the UK.
