CINDER ROAD COMPETES FOR $20,000 IN FALL FAMECAST FINALS |

Winners of August, September and October online competitions to battle for fan votes through Nov. 22 at FameCast.com Baltimore, MD – Nov. 3, 2008 – FameCast, the premier online competition and community for independent artists, today kicked off its Fall Finals competition. After three months of intense competition, Cinder Road will join 17 of the world’s top up-and-coming artists who emerged victorious among a pool of more than 25,000 acts. Cinder Road will compete through Nov. 22 for a shot at the grand prize, a bio in SPIN Magazine and the title of FameCast Fenom. Fans can vote for Cinder Road once per day at FameCast.com/Finals. The Top 10 will be announced Nov. 8, the Top 5 on Nov. 15 and the Fenom on Nov. 22. The Finalists will advance through each round of competition based on a combination of vote count and Buzz Factor. The Buzz Factor is calculated by FameCast’s proprietary media optimization engine, which scans the Web and FameCast sites 24/7 to measure how much each artist’s work is viewed, shared, linked to and mentioned worldwide. Artists are assigned a Buzz Factor of 1-100, which rises and falls according to online presence.Cinder Road earned their spot by winning FameCast’s August Rock Stage competition. They join the August, September and October winners from six musical genres – Rock, Country, Hip Hop, Pop, Latino and Christian. In addition to cash prizes, FameCast offers artists a platform for growing their fan base, increasing international exposure and being discovered for major industry opportunities. Artists have been discovered via FameCast for major festival performances such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival and South by Southwest; rotation on MTV; and placement on movie and television soundtracks.
