Bestcent.co.uk is a new innovation that offers extremely cheap items to its customers in UK. Bestcent.co.uk introduces a new type of a bidding war auction. It will be the first so called one-penny-auction in Britain. It differs from traditional lowest unique bids by its minimum price for every item on the site is £0.00 and you may only bid £0.01 at a time. In a traditional lowest unique bid auction, the minimum price you can bid is typically set to $0.01. When the auction closes, the bid with the lowest price no one else has bid wins the auction. The original idea of this one-cent-auction was invented in Scandinavia, where directors of the company are based. How does bestcent.co.uk work? You will see a list of various items on the site. Every item will have a timer (3 to 5 mins) that shows when the bidding of the item will be closed. Once it hits zero, the system will check the last bidder and he/she will win the auction and may buy the product with the bid he/she set. All products will start with the price of £0.00 and you may only bid £0.01 at a time. Each time you or someone else bids on an item, the timer will reset. For example, if the highest bid of a tv on the site is £0.01 and you bid on the product. The highest bid will rise to £0.02 and so on. Every bid costs £1.50 if the bid is sent by SMS or less than £1.00 if a the customer uses prepaid bid vouchers, that may be purchased at bestcent.co.uk site with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards.
