Full-Body Resistance Training for People in Wheelchairs
July 2008 - The new Wheelchair Workout from Parkside-healthcare enables wheelchair users to benefit from a complete resistance workout program that targets the upper, middle, and lower body. It secures in seconds to all wheelchairs up to 26 inches and accepts all levels of resistance tubes and bands.
Therapists never lift, move, or position the wheelchair user, who stays seated while performing all exercises. The Wheelchair Workout kit comes complete with wheelchair adapter, exercise bar, handgrips, foot sling, and convenient carry bag. All accessories have easy-secure/easy-release ball-and-socket devices that eliminate the need to tie or cut costly resistance materials.
Use one 64-inch tube or band to perform more than 20 exercises. Completely portable, the entire kit weighs less than three pounds.
Wheelchair Workout is available exclusively from PARKSIDE HEALTHCARE See complete video demonstration by going to www.Parkside-Healthcare.co.uk
