MedXpress is now introducing claim submission via DIRECT High Speed for NGS Medicare (Empire Medicare, GHI Medicare, CT Medicare and CEDI/DMERC), Empire BCBS, RR Medicare and  NJ/PA Medicare ! MedXpress is extremely accessible and easy to use program.  It is a replacement for dial-up modems or dial-up FTP.   During sign up a small HIPAA complaint program will be downloaded to the provider’s computer. MedXpress will handle the movement of the files to and from the computer. In under 5 seconds, MedXpress will automatically detect which carrier the file is for and send it via high speed internet. The reports will be pulled at the same time and placed on the computer. There will be no need to call Medicare to reset reports as they will be saved indefinitely on the local computer. When the program is started reports will automatically be downloaded. If the file is rejected, MedXpress will send an email notifying the user of the rejected file. The user is able to print EOBs. MedXpress will even allow the user to print a specific EOB for a patient, therefore no photocopying is necessary for secondary submission.
