SHEZOOM LAUNCHES FIRST VIDEO WEBSITE FOR WOMEN
Written by Julie Fogerson

A new online community focused on woman-friendly, compelling and real-world information

SheZoom today launches the first video Website for women. SheZoom targets women with a diverse range of programming, seamlessly combining originally produced content with partner and user generated content. SheZoom.com is an upbeat and engaging community that encourages women to laugh, learn, share and connect.

Aiming to tap into the excitement of video and speak to women in an intelligent and respectful, but bold voice, the programming features experts in fields such as weight loss, fashion, finance, food, parenting and technology. Experts include: Dr. Lou Aronne, Director of the Comprehensive Weight Control Center affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital and an internationally recognized obesity expert; Julie Ross, a four-time author and parenting expert; Greg Harper, CEO and Founder of Cerberus, a leading technology consulting and design firm; and former West Coast Editor of Wine Spectator and current winemaker Jeff Morgan, along with Jodie Morgan, his life partner and co-author of The Working Parents Cookbook.

“Our goal with SheZoom is to bring women together and encourage a wide variety of interactions,” said Founder and CEO Stacey Artandi. “Whether driven by similarities or differences, we want to facilitate dialogue. All of our contributors can relate to one another and have a wealth of knowledge based on their experiences as executives, mothers, runners, sisters, chefs – the list goes on and on. SheZoom enables women to tap into and share this collective knowledge.”

“One of the most important things we want to do is encourage the SheZoom community to reach. Whether it’s trying a new recipe, pushing for that promotion, or wearing that bold print that shocks a monochromatic wardrobe, we want to expose our audience to new ideas and provide a community that helps motivate people to better themselves and others,” said Artandi.

“SheZoom offers accurate, reliable and trustworthy information to its members, but what makes the community unique is that in turn, its members can provide valuable support for each other,” said Dr. Lou Aronne. “I enjoy contributing to this venture because I think it can truly make a difference by expanding the reach of our work.”
