One of the leading consumer electronics manufacturers, Sony Corporation has announced its affiliate marketing service to help the bloggers and business members.

The Japanese multi national corporation and conglomerate, Sony Corporation has announced the launch of its online affiliate marketing service. According to JCNN (Japan’s Corporate News Network) Sony Corp said on Wednesday that it has begun a web based affiliate marketing service to connect bloggers and electronic commerce businesses.

The bloggers, who would be provided with free registeration, will generate articles and texts on products and member businesses. Sony Corporation is one of the world’s largest conglomerates and manufacturers of consumer electronic goods, semiconductors, video capturing and imaging products, game consoles and many others related to Information Technology.

Sony will be providing an interface between member business and the bloggers. They would be charging an amount on commissions that are to be reimbursed to the bloggers and advertisers. In principle, the venture would operate like an affiliate network .

Already a large number of web site owners and bloggers have considered the option to join affiliate networks. With full support and ventures like those started by Sony, the inhibitions would be all but gone.

Affiliate networks would also be happy and see it as a big time promotional event to celebrate. Affiliate networks have been inviting publishers and web site owners to participate in the programs. “May be this time they are not be so much hesitant,” said an official of an affiliate network.
