The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCi) has announced it has renewed its licence to use the web based ‘Intelligent Marketing® platform designed to help businesses harness digital marketing technology. LCCi use the iNews, e-MSG and iSurvey solutions that are part of the platform to regularly communicate with their membership; with several people within the organisation able to exploit the technology via the web platform. In the run up to the election for Mayor of London, the chamber has been able to keep members updated with ballot views about the existing Mayor Ken Livingstone and his rival candidates, including Boris Johnson.   The iNews solution provides a content management system allowing users to build stories and then develop and update them for future use, and/or archive them. An added benefit is the updated content in iNews is readily accessible by search engines which improves the performance of the chamber’s website via improved SEO.   “LCCi has been using the platform for 2 years and we are delighted to renew our licence with MIG and be given the chance to trial the SMS solution within the same platform,” said Stuart Webster at the London Chamber. Commenting on the news, Rob Bielby CEO at MIG said, “The London Chamber is a very prestigious and influential client and was the first to take the licence 2 years ago; many others have relied on their judgement and experience subsequently and taken licences to use the platform or various aspects of it. The LCCi are great advocates of it and we have even developed a cut down version of iNews for their members to use as it effectively replaces much of the marketing effort and spend needed to build awareness in your business or brand.”
