| Nimlok, world leading manufacturers and suppliers of exhibition and event solutions, located in Park Farm Industrial Estate Wellingborough, are holding a Chartered Institute of Marketing workshop at their grand showroom on the 15th July 2008. The workshop is titled ‘The awesome power of exhibitions and events’ and will feature two guest speakers. Trevor Foley, Chief Executive of the Events Industry Alliance will give an insight into how large and small organisations can measure success at an event and get the best out of exhibiting and Paddy Power, Account Director and head of training at Nimlok, will give some unique hints and tips along with practical advice and tools to ensure you make the most out of this incredibly powerful marketing medium. The workshop includes: Stand Design and BuildSetting ObjectivesPlanning and participationBest practice in staffing your stand effectivelyLead generation and follow up techniquesBudget setting Delivering Return On InvestmentTraining tools to take back to your officeSo whether you are a first timer or seasoned exhibitor, this workshop is for you! There is a free prize draw being held for a banner stand donated by Nimlok, graphics donated by Nutshell Creative Marketing. Just bring your business card with you to enter the draw. The workshop starts at 9:30am and runs through until 13:00. Guest ticket price is £20.00 and this includes refreshments on arrival and a buffet lunch. There is also the opportunity to visit the on-site manufacturing facility at Nimlok. There is stiff competition when it comes to budget allocation against such pressures as internet advertising.
