The legendary TSAI family stole the fashion limelight in London yesterday with a sexy, playful and romantic collection for Leg Avenue that tapped into one of the biggest trends we've seen emerging for autumn 2008; breaking the old barriers of clubwear, lingerie and fancy dress.
In divine silky textiles and exiting hues, the Legavenue girls are ready to play - and make halloween parties fun again. As FANCYDRESSHEAVEN.CO.UK buyers wrote from the front row: "They may be in the UK, but the look is all Hollywood." Fancy Dress has also moved upstage with time for old favourites Rubies taking its its turn on the catwalk with a collection inspired by Hollywoods latest releases - with sexy takes on Star Wars costumes and 300 Spartans as well as the latest costumes from Dark Knight, Clone Wars. The overriding message from PIRATE-COSTUMES.CO.UK , meanwhile, was despite the recession trade is up 40% this year and fashion conscious customers were buying well, with luxurious quality blouses and shirts graduating down the body and pile-ups of pirate bangles adorning the wrist. Accessories were up too with pistols, cutlasses sea boots and big pirate hats, as everbuilding on the overriding theme. |
