The dress remains important and Wallis returns to a structured shape and the 1950’s prom dress. Ruffles, frills, corsage details and hand-painted garden floral prints add a touch of romance and capture this season’s celebration of femininity. Wear the maxi tiered skirt with a fitted ruffle blouse to add a sexy twist to this romantic trend and complete the look with a vintage brooch for a more luxurious feel.
Floor-skimming maxi dresses in printed florals and retro safari prints are key for any holiday wardrobe and elegant shirt dresses in cool linen are contemporary and very easy to wear.
Team Capri pants or button-detail wide-leg linen trousers with the navy and ivory striped blazer. Wear with a classic white shirt for a nautical edge. Full skirts and fitted blouses in sailor colours, worn back with skinny fitted cardigans and a wide leather belt to accentuate the waist, continue the 1950’s silhouette.
Accessories are opulent this season with each piece designed to make a statement. Oversized clutch bags and totes are key, while raffia bags are on-trend and the epitome of poolside glamour. Jewellery is lavishly designed and kitsch or vintage trims add a point of difference.
A wide selection of this product will also be available in Wallis Petite, specifically designed for women of 5’3” and under. The Petite collection is available in sizes 8-18 and in all the stores nationwide.
All products will be available on-line at www.wallis-fashion.com with women’s clothing in sizes 8-20 and shoes in sizes 3-8.
