Litigation support specialists Legal Inc and Millnet have announced details of a joint venture that is set to revolutionise the coding capability available to UK law firms. By bringing together on and offshore working, the new offering, SmartCode, aims to set new standards for the quality, speed and affordability of coding services.

Uniquely, project management is led from the UK, liaising with coding managers trained by Legal Inc and Millnet but based in India, who in turn supervise teams of qualified lawyers, paralegals and graduates; data remains on servers in the UK or in a location of the client’s choosing at all times to overcome any jurisdictional sensitivities; and additional coding seats can be brought online at any time to cater for large or multiple projects running simultaneously.
