God I love America, because they treat the veterans like people who do not have a name or a number.,Recently, I went to the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach California., It was on a Sunday morning so it was quiet as usual. The smell of urine was in all 4 of the buildings and the wall on the inside of Building 2, said, The Cleanest Healthiest Place Award for 2007.,Of course, it was given to this organization, by the organization, that funds them., It is ironic, that a smelly recently remolded hospital for veterans of this war and the other wars was remodeled in 1995, and still smells, like urine.,Have you ever been in a building that smelled like urine?, It is not a pleasant experience, for anyone there or visiting there.,The defense department is the largest funded part of the us government and the veteran administration is the next largest funded in the us government., It is ironic, that the veterans have to live in this place or even visit.,Oh, by the way, the disabled american veterans, have over 1,000,000,000 usd in their account for helping the veterans., I hope they get interest on the money because it is not being used to help the veterans of the wars.,America wake up and smell the urine., It is in most of the veteran facilities, that I have seen, and the staff is such that they should go out and get real jobs., They are getting paid very well for their services, because they are government employees., Let these veteran administration staff go out into the real world and get real jobs. Most of them, would never make it in the real world of health care., Of course, they have the security of the department of veteran affairs to protect them., Recently, I was awarded an increase in disability as of January 2008.
