The Child Fund Foundation, created by executive search firm Transearch International, recently completed its first project which entailed building a school 100km from Hanoi in Vietnam.
In late 2006 Transearch International created a Child Fund Foundation to assist underprivileged children in the third world. The first project entailed building a school 100km from Hanoi in Vietnam. The whole project is under the umbrella of Child Fund International. On the 7th May the school was officially opened. Ulrich F. Ackermann, Member of the Board of Directors of Transearch International Partners and Managing Partner, Transearch International Deutschland spearheads this project and was present to cut the ribbon: “This occasion was no doubt one of the highlights of my year so far! The project was conducted in conjunction with the public development plans in Vietnam and comprises 3 classrooms and an office for the Head Teacher. The goal of this project is to support education in the community as well as to implement an advanced training programme for teachers in the province (Hoah Binh Province).” The event was well attended by government representatives, the rural community, parents, school children as well as the Vietnamese Press and Television.
