Fresh Recruits employment agency agrees with survey that says recruitment will boom during economic meltdown nationally.
Fresh Recruits employment agency in Bournemouth is backing research depicting business boom for temporary staff, despite economic doom and gloom nationally. A new study by research company MBD claims temporary placements will account for 90 per cent of recruitment consultants’ business within four years. With companies opting for lean employment policies to reduce their costs, temporary placements will be the only way to meet short-term fluctuations in their labour demands says the research. “We have definitely seen an increase, and the statistics forecast for 2007 to 2012 is expected to demonstrate year -on -year growth, culminating and overall real term increase of 15 per cent,” said Katie Diamond of Fresh Recruits, a leading south coast recruitment agency. “And our annual growth rates remain relatively stable at 2 to 4 per cent for the forecast period.” By 2012 the research says the value of temporary placements nationally is expected to increase by 3 per cent in real terms, reaching £29.14 billion. Overall, the value of the sector is anticipated to increase by 16 per cent in real terms compared with 2007. Fresh Recruits turnover last year exceeded £720,000 and the company operates from a 25 mile radius from Bournemouth including Southampton and Dorchester. |
