| UK web hosing provider Machine Networks Ltd has announced PHP 5 / APACHE 2.2 upgrade Following the upgrade to cPanel 11, Machine Networks Ltd, a UK based web hosting provider have upgraded all their shared hosting and reseller servers to PHP 5 and Apache 2.2. The official support for PHP 4 stopped at the end of 2007 with the PHP development team offering critical security fixes on a case-by-case basis until 2008-08-08. Server upgrades were scheduled since the beginning of March 2008. Although PHP 5 is backward compatible all customers are advised to test their scripts and applications for any compatibility issues.
