Oracle database management specialists Xynomix have won one of their biggest contracts yet to provide remote Oracle database management for a leading UK manufacturer. Earlier this year, Xynomix's new Oracle database support customer identified a requirement for support services for its large oracle estate, which incorporates a number of high end technologies. Xynomix have taken time to assess our database environment and have provided a bespoke solution for the comprehensive support of our Oracle database". Xynomix has stated that the deal, which should save the manufacturer around £50,000 per annum on DBA expenses, will involve 24x7 / 365 remote database monitoring, database performance tuning and Oracle licence management for the entire Oracle database estate. According to Xynomix Sales Director, Steve Wigglesworth: "The new company we have on board are renowned for their product innovation and high sales volumes. We look forward to making sure that their database is working perfectly to compliment the business". The new contract signifies steady business growth for Xynomix, as businesses opt to save money by outsourcing DBA work and improving the productivity of their existing systems.
