When Ring Automotive designed its RIL3000 it challenged itself to produce a high powered reliable LED inspection lamp robust enough to withstand the rigours of a tough professional garage environment. Made from tough polycarbonate and delivering up to 6 hours of use between charges (enough light for a days work), Ring Automotive believed it had designed a product that fulfilled this brief. No more clearly is this demonstrated than the feedback from the SAC Garage in Leeds. Steve Tait, the owner, was so impressed that RIL3000 was still able to work after so much rough treatment in his garage. “We have tried everything to break this lamp” said Steve. “It has been burnt, smashed, flung from one end of the garage to the other, left out in the rain and even been run over. We just can’t break it. It’s great. All inspection lamps should be made this way.” Steve sent the RIL3000 back to Ring Automotive, so we could get a better understanding of the damage that the lamp had incurred. To be honest, even were a little surprised that the lamp still worked once we had seen the damage the lamp had sustained. Yet we shouldn’t have been surprised. It is testament to fact that at Ring Automotive we only seek to supply the highest quality products. Steve is so happy with the RIL3000 that he stated “this is the best lamp I have ever used in over 30 years in the trade. I would happily recommend this lamp to anyone that wanted to know.” |
