A new Scooter dealership was launched this month with immediate success. Invidia Scooters, based on the Isle of Wight, are restoring and importing classic Lambretta and Vespa Scooters from all over the world. These scooters are fully restored by experienced mechanics, before been give a thorough road test and MOT.Due to the demand in the first month for their Scooters, Invidia are now building to order and have around 25 scooters currently being restored. This allows customers to choose their own unique colour scheme and options.Shane Potter, Director of Invidia, says “Invidia was created through our own interest in classic Scooters and an increasing demand for quality scooters, restored to UK Standards but at a cost effective price. By restoring our Scooters abroad, we are able to pass those saving to our customers.”Shane also adds “We are able to visit our workshops on a monthly basis to ensure the quality remains high, and are constantly improving our range. We are committed to providing a first class service and even deliver our Scooters to the customers door.”The company has booked a stand on the Isle of Wight Rally and will have a number of Demonstrators available to view. They are also going to be attending the Bridlington Rally in October. They have also launched their website – www.invidia-scooters.co.uk and are giving a copy of Scootering Lifestyle, by Iain “Iggy” Grainger, free to anyone who orders a scooter through the site, until the end of August.Over the next year, plans are in place to offer online parts ordering and establish a dealer network throughout the country.
